Safety
groups began in Ontario in 2000 as a pilot project. After 3
successful years it became a permanent program. HBA has been
involved in these programs since day one.
The safety group concept is one
of the most effective ways for employers to manage safety. It offers
employers the opportunity to work together by sharing ideas, and
best practices to reduce accidents, injuries and other costly
incidents. Employers do not share any trade secrets. One of the
underlying benefits is networking opportunities. If the group
performance is good the members receive a bonus to their current
experience-rating rebate. If the group performance is not good they
do not pay any additional surcharge.
HBA has been successfully
working with several safety groups since 2000. We can act in any
